Tanzania Safari June 4-12

Amazing trip! Please forgive some redundancy of pics. I don't know this Blogger thing very well and wanted to get the pics up as quick as possible.

The Tanzanian people are so warm and friendly. The safari guides are full of knowledge about the animals and their behaviors and environment. They help each other out, radioing sighting of the animals that are rarer to find.

Our departure was June 2 and we arrived the 4th. (Time changes and 3 flights and very long layovers.) Our return flight left June 12 and we arrived Denver June 13. (4 flights on the return. That was brutal!)

Hope you enjoy scrolling through.

Oh, one quick tip for newbies to Blogger that I just learned myself. When it looks like you are at the end of the posts, when you see "Older Posts" to the right, that means there are more days to go, so click on that to continue.

Fulgence, our incredible driver and guide!

His vision is a super power! He can see a tiny dot in the distance and tell you what it is. Then he will drive you to it and he is right!

Tarangire National Park Day 2

Fulgence saw this owl and it took us about 20 minutes of him explaining exactly where it was in the tree. This is an extreme close up. I have no idea how he saw it.

Bathroom stop where they display skulls they have found over the years
